Compound & Polishing Paint Correction Process
Our paint correction service is a meticulous, multi-step process designed to restore your vehicle’s paint to its best possible condition. Using premium professional-grade compounds, polishes, and dual-action polishers, we safely and effectively remove swirl marks, light-to-moderate clear coat scratches, oxidation, and other surface imperfections that dull your vehicle’s finish.
Step 1 – Preparation
Before correction begins, your vehicle is thoroughly washed and decontaminated to remove dirt, road film, and embedded particles. This ensures a clean surface so that correction can be performed without introducing new scratches.
Step 2 – Compounding
Using high-quality cutting compounds and a dual-action polisher, we carefully level the paint to remove deeper imperfections. The DA polisher’s safe, oscillating motion minimizes heat buildup, reducing the risk of burning the paint while still delivering effective correction. This step removes the majority of swirl marks, light scratches, and etched defects.
Step 3 – Polishing
Next, we refine the finish with a finishing polish and softer polishing pads to enhance gloss and depth. This removes any light haze left from compounding and restores a mirror-like clarity to the paint.
Step 4 – Inspection
After each stage, we inspect the surface under specialized lighting to ensure defects have been removed and not simply filled or hidden.
Step 5 – Protection
Once the correction is complete, we seal in the results with your choice of ceramic coating or paint sealant to protect against future damage and keep the paint looking flawless for years to come.
The Result:
A deep, reflective finish that’s free of swirls, enhances your vehicle’s color, and maximizes the overall appearance and value.
We offer paint chip repair as an add on service to fill in any paint chips with your vehicles OEM paint color.
